Projects without tutorials

View: Tutorials | About Me

Hi! Thank you for stopping by. This page is a list of projects that unfortunately, do not have dedicated tutorials. The lack of a tutorial is usually due to a sewing frenzy. (You know – when you have an idea and you can’t stop because once you do, you might lose the idea? ) Some may eventually get tutorials (if requests are received). Most if not all of my creations were created without patterns. These projects use a mix of various concepts and i’ve added links to those individual ideas where possible. Do leave comments or feedback. I’d love to read them. 🙂 Happy sewing!

Seat protector for bar-stool and padded backing to provide more back support.

original

We bought this for our kitchen counter and decided that the seat had to be protected from spills, dog fur, and unexpected accidents. The seat back feels like it shouldn’t lean so far back but we didn’t want to fork out more $ for an ergonomic barstool. So i refashioned an old quilt to create a padded backing with additional support (like a mini body hugger) at the top, and a casing to match the seat cover. Here’s what it looks like:
