Refashion: jeans to short overalls

Ella came by for a weekend of sewing fun and we have been hard at work (fun) since Saturday afternoon. She presented me with a pair of jeans, that was gifted to her and were too big, to be refashioned.

After some thought, i decided overalls were the way to go. Here is the finished product. I didn’t take process pics for this project but i have photos of the overalls inside out. You might be able to figure it out.

This took me about 6 hours to plan, cut, (experiment) and sew. Buttonholes and buttons were hand sewn on.

What do you think?
